Welcome to No.10 Properties. A family run portfolio of Student and Professional Lets in Swansea. Securing our first property back in 1984, we now have a number of houses and flats in Brynmill, Uplands and more recently Port Tennant.
With over 25 years experience, we have a dedicated team ready to help with any service or maintenance issues. We manage all our accommodation in-house, providing a ‘hands on’ service to ensure you and your housemate(s) have a ‘stress free’ time spent at one of our properties.
Our properties range in size from something as small as a 2 bed flat to a large 7 bedroom house. Although our focus over the years has been to offer first class accommodation for students at Swansea University’s Singleton campus, we now have some additional properties that are conveniently situated for Swansea University’s Bay campus.
Properties within walking distance of Swansea University’s Singleton Campus
Swansea University’s Singleton Campus is set in mature parklands overlooking Swansea Bay. Brynmill and Uplands are a short walk through the park adjoining the Campus. Both areas have a mixture of residential housing and rented student accommodation.
Brynmill is about two miles (3 km) to the west of Swansea city centre. This area is close to Swansea University and many students choose to rent rooms here. Brynmill has many convenience stores, bars and restaurants which attracts a lively student presence. The coastal path is nearby and follows the curving sweep of Swansea Bay running from the popular village of Mumbles to Swansea Marina and the Bay Campus.
Uplands is about a mile (2 km) to the west of Swansea city centre. It is centred on the A4118 road, which links Swansea city centre and Sketty. As Swansea University’s Singleton Campus is located in Sketty, Uplands has become a popular choice amongst student’s when choosing where to live whilst studying at Swansea University. Over the past few years Uplands has become a popular choice to socialise and is fast becoming ‘the’ place to live in Swansea for students. Buses to the Bay Campus run every 15 mins and many students prefer to live here rather than on campus.
Properties within walking distance of Swansea University’s Bay Campus
Swansea University’s Bay Campus is set alongside Swansea’coastline. With direct access to the beach, this new state of the art facility has its own Seafront prominade. 1st year students studying at the campus often opt for onsite university accomodation. Leaving 2nd, 3rd and post grad students looking for suitable living arrangements whilst studying.
Crymlyn Burrows is located to the east of Swansea city centre, in between Swansea University’s Bay Campus and Neath Estuary. The area opposite the Campus is a quiet residential area and Elba Crescent and Baldwins Crescent are located here, both within a 3 – 5 minute walk of the Bay Campus.
Port Tennant is located to the south of Kilvey Hill, just east of St. Thomas and is bordered by Fabian Way to the south. It is predominantly a residential area, however with Swansea University’s new Bay Campus, student accommodation in the area is increasing. There is a new pedestrian bridge linking Port Tennant to the marina – a short walk to Bay Campus.
